Who we are

Letora is a trading style of Hartington Consultants Limited (company number 07775478), registered office 3-5 Croxted Mews, 286a-288 Croxted Road, London SE24 9DA. For anything in this notice, contact hello@letora.ai.

Letora provides software for UK letting agents: compliance deadline tracking, maintenance workflows and rent records. Letora records financial activity; it never holds or moves client money.

The data we collect

Account data: name, email address and sign-in details when an agent creates an account.

Platform data: information letting agents enter or import to run their business — properties, tenancies, landlord, tenant and contractor contact details, maintenance reports, compliance dates and rent records.

Technical data: log and device information needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it and our lawful bases

To provide and secure the service (performance of a contract; legitimate interests in running and protecting the platform).

To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

To communicate service messages — for example maintenance updates sent by WhatsApp at an agent's instruction (performance of a contract; legitimate interests).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Agents' client data

Where a letting agent uses Letora to manage their landlords, tenants and contractors, the agent decides what data is entered and why; Letora processes it on the agent's behalf to deliver the service, under our agreement with the agent.

If you are a tenant, landlord or contractor and want to exercise your rights over data an agent holds about you, the quickest route is usually the agent; you can also contact us and we will help route your request.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host and run the platform for us — such as cloud hosting, authentication, payments infrastructure and messaging providers — under contracts that restrict what they can do with the data.

Authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and maintain the audit records the platform exists to keep, and then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data (a subject access request), correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to certain processing. Contact hello@letora.ai and we will respond within the statutory timescale.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The public website sets only what is needed for it to work. Signing in uses essential authentication cookies; we do not run third-party advertising cookies.
